The passive MAGICLINE® seating system consists of an aluminum seat and back unit. It can be combined with all interco undercarriages: The seat and back unit are fitted with anatomical basic padding as well as good side guides for upper body, pelvis and legs. The lateral chest supports can be adjusted variably in height and width and can be adapted to the patient's needs. The width of the adduction guides can be adjusted to achieve optimum lateral guidance. The seat with seat mold is anatomically well shaped and ensures an optimized upright position of the pelvis.
The standardized basic components of MAGICLINE® can be supplemented with a wide range of functional accessories for further customization. This allows the system to be continuously adapted to the growth and disease-related changes of the patients.
The angle of the back unit can be adjusted by up to 35° by means of a gas pressure spring and a physiological pivot. This allows the back rest to be infinitely adjusted for slightly relaxed lying positions. This saves energy and attention for head and trunk control.
Safe transport in an automobile
The product combination MAGICLINE® seating system with SIMPLY LIGHT® undercarriage in combination with a safety harness was successfully tested according to ISO 7176-19 and ISO 10542-2. In conjunction with a safety harness, it is therefore suitable for patient transport in vehicles if the vehicle is equipped with an appropriate fastening system.
The MAGICLINE® seating aid is suited for patients with pronounced movement disorders or paralyses with simultaneously impaired trunk and head control, making it necessary to provide comprehensive support while seated. MAGICLINE® is equally suited for malformations caused by diseases/disabilities or deformities of the trunk due to abnormal body shape, requiring special support and restraint options while seated.
